great staff! Very helpful with every small emergency that we had.

Bubba's Pampered Pedalers provided a very good tour experience. The tour leader and volunteers were friendly, available and always ready to provide whatever assistance was needed. The accommodations were comfortable; the food was excellent and the train ride was fun. Kudos to Philip for a job well done.

The trip route was well planned and executed. Especially delightful was the Amtrak ride from St. Charles to Sedalia to begin the adventure. We felt a smaller group that could be housed in one location would have enhanced the trip. Also, the daily route discussions became confusing. Perhaps a white board with mileages for SAG stops and points of interest (listed in order) that could be photographed each day would have helped us to keep track easier than relying on memory and notes. While we were ones who voted to skip introductions at the end of the long first day, we regretted that decision as the week progressed. Introductions the next day would have helped. It would have been nice to hear names and hometowns to put with faces. Wonder if a list of first names and hometowns printed would help us learn fellow riders. Met many folks, but the size of the group made it nearly impossible to meet everyone. Lunch options were inconsistent, especially if you didn't eat peanut butter. The dinners could have been a bit later in the evening (6:00pm) to have adequate time to clean up after longer biking days. All meals were good, but I must especially call out the overnight and breakfast at the Schoolhouse in Rocheport as exceptionally wonderful. We could tell a ton of planning went into making this a pleasant trip. For our tastes, a smaller group would have made it perfect with a five star rating. Jennifer Mayer

The trip was wonderful, met so many great people on the trip, which made it a great experience. The weather was wonderful, and the food was good, all around a great time!

The weather was perfect. The accommodations were all good. Enjoyed my KATY Trail Tour. I ride about 400 miles a month and am 74 tears old. The three middle 50 mile days were hard. The group was fun to be around.
