Bubba’s PAMPERED Pedalers is offering a five-day, five-night ride across the central vein of Florida from the Space Coast to the Gulf Coast. For the 2026 Coast 2 Coast Florida ride, the route direction has changed. This year, you’ll meet us in Dunedin on Sunday at 1pm to check-in, load your bike and luggage, and park your car (if you're driving). From there, we'll shuttle to the Sunday night hotel in Sanford. Over the course of the week, you’ll ride back to your car in Dunedin. There will be time Friday afternoon to celebrate the accomplishment in Dunedin or hit the road. This marks the fourth year of this ride, following the resounding acclaim received during its first three years. Late March weather in Florida is perfect for outdoor activities! You will cycle mostly paved off-road trails for the week and ride through parts of the sunshine state most tourists never see.
It’s a bit of a challenge to SAG on this ride because the trails are secluded and dedicated solely to cycling. You won’t hear much traffic during this five-day bike vacation. We’ll be offering SAGs daily located strategically to keep you nourished and hydrated throughout the day. Our staff and bicycle mechanic will always be on the route throughout the day. The group will dine out for three dinners and breakfasts will be taken in the host hotels. We will be staying in different hotels as we make our way across Florida, highlighted by the classic Edgewater Hotel in Winter Garden. Mid week we will offer a rest day where you can elect to relax or do even more cycling. After a restful night, wake up refreshed and ready to hit the saddle. Leave your bags in your room – they’ll magically appear in your new accommodation each moving day, allowing you to ride light and fully immerse yourself in the journey. The ride features paved paths for the entire duration and is suitable for bicycles of any type. Last year, most folks had a variety of EBikes, road bikes, and hybrids. As with all Bubba’s PAMPERED Pedalers’ bicycle vacations, we welcome EBikes, tandems and trikes.
Providing SAG support on this tour presents certain challenges due to the secluded nature of the cycling-only trails. During this five-day bicycle vacation, participants will encounter minimal traffic. Daily SAG stations are located strategically to ensure your access to nourishment and hydration, with staff always available along the route for assistance if need be. The itinerary includes four group dinners and daily breakfasts. We will be staying in different hotels as we make our way across Florida. Mid-week we will offer a rest day where you can elect to relax or do even more cycling.
Wake up refreshed each day and simply leave your bags in your room—they'll be transferred to your next accommodation, so you can ride light, pannier free and enjoy the journey. The route uses paved paths throughout and is suitable for all types of bikes. On this ride folks tend to ride a variety of velos: EBikes, road bikes, and hybrids are the most common. As with all Bubba’s PAMPERED Pedalers bicycle vacations, we welcome EBikes, tandems and trikes.
